The new shop got off to a quick start! Have had a couple Jeeps come in, for miscellaneous part installs, but one came in for a pretty labor intensive job. Customer with a bone stock 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon had purchased parts from another retailer (I simply just couldn’t beat the deal as the customer was able to take advantage of a holiday sale with free shipping and no sales tax). He had a Rock Krawler Suspension 2.5″ Max Travel lift (springs, shocks, rear track bar bracket, front track bar, all 4 lower control arms, brake lines), Synergy Ball Joints, and wheels/tires. The Jeep is from back east, and had some major rust issues with it – most in the front. Rotors were seized to the hubs, which in turn were rusted to the knuckles. Made the ball joint install very interesting. Also had a wheel speed sensor that was cracked, but still was reading properly as the bolt was still holding it in place. All in all it came out very nice – only some fine tuning to the front track bar length. Thank you to Jim and Rich for all their help!!
